Three locations have been ‘Home’ in as many years and there are three different attractions that I have really wanted to visit, but just put off, for one reason or the other.
The first is the Sultan Qaboos Mosque, Muscat, Oman. I have been informed that it really is a work of wonder. The Persian carpet in the main hall is exquisite as is the chandelier. The lady in the images is my mum, who walked to the place. We lived across the road from the mosque and that is the only reason I never went to it.
The second location would be one of the many trekking spots listed a short drive away from Bangalore. The Channarayanadurga Trek, Channakeshava Betta, Makalidurga Trek, RanganathaSwamy Betta or any of the treks listed in the infographic below. We’ve never been to any of these locations. And the reason is the same as above, its right there, we’ve just never slotted it in.
The third and final location is the Museum of the Future, Dubai, UAE. This opened in 2021 and has been touted as being something really interesting to do in Dubai. I love visiting museums, and this is something that’s in my ‘to-do’ hopefully soon.
